Plans for the Planet
Year: Ongoing
Type: Interiors, Building Types.
Plans for the Planet are a series of plan extrusions that narrate environmental issues happening in today’s world. It uses the plan and typical architectural scale attributes as a descriptive mechanism to speak to the magnitude of issues related to waste, pollution, mass production, and sewage.

Manicured Wastelands
Contemporary architectural standards and representational techniques (the grid, the platonic regularity of rooms, and the fixation of consumers on designed physical objects) serve to enable and accelerate the stream of physical junk that flows into natural ecosystems around the world. Plans for the Planet: Manicured Wastelands uses architectural techniques and representations of real biome-wastelands into a shared third space: synthetic, manicured gallery environments where modern architectural conventions and the chaotic forms of polluted natural environments are presented in opposition to one another. It re-imagines the position of discarded objects in time and space by formulating a connection between their physical forms and the structures of the natural environments that they pollute.
